This lipstick is such a fun shade for summer. Although the high-street brands are getting better at following examples set by designers it can still sometimes be tricky to find fashion shades, especially in matte textures.
I find that creamy or sheer textures tend to be of quite low quality within high-street brands however their matte lipsticks are something that always catch my eye. MaxFactor has always been very good with their formulas in make-up and this lipstick is no different – it’s a full finish and really only needs a quick slick and blot (if you can be bothered) and you’re good to go! Perfect for the working girl. The full finish means it’s not a traditional matte however I think that’s no bad thing – this lipstick is not drying and didn’t cling to any dry patches or sit in the creases in my lips (something that has been the bane of my lipstick wearing for several years). It retails at £7.99 which is a good price for such a high quality product. It gets the thumbs up from me!
